A native of Hsinchu, Taiwan, Liang-Pin Tsao lives and works in Taipei. His practices span artistic projects, organizational management, and public services. In 2015, he published his first photography book Sojourn in Taiwan. In 2016, he founded Lightbox Photo Library, an organization dedicated to the preservation, research, and public engagement with photography in Taiwan. In 2025, he founded the inaugural Taiwan International Photography Festival. His second book Becoming・Taiwanese will be published by AKAAKA in Japan.
新竹台灣人，工作和生活於台北。從事藝術創作、組織營運與公共服務。2015 年，於台灣出版首本攝影專輯《中途》。2016 年成立「Lightbox 攝影圖書室」，致力於保存、研究及推廣台灣攝影。2025 年，創辦首屆「TIPF 台灣國際攝影節」。他的《Becoming・Taiwanese》將由日本赤々舎出版。
